I recommend you refer to this article by Mr Serkan Toto on TechCrunch!
There are hundreds of, tons of, millions of apps on the AppStore. Some of them are made in the east island, Japan. But it is difficult to know whether an app is good or not. Some big companies you may know and you may trust their products. But how about other ones by a not big or famous company?
The article above focuses on apps by more local companies and available in English, not only in Japanese. It introduces 32 Japanese good, or better, or the best apps, such as Gang Street Wars by DigiDock, Broadway Cafe by Artscape and Istpika, and Glandarius Wing Strike by IZUMOGASIN for Game category.

Free trial version, Glandarius Wing Strike Lite is now available on AppStore. Please check it out and try our shooter if you haven’t tried yet, of course you have already tried too.
With the GWS Lite, you can play the first level of the game (normal mode) , and you can watch the demo-movie on the Internet.

Easier to complete? Glandarius 1.2

Hi all, how things going?
The other day, I finally, finally completed all levels of Glandarius Wing Strike!!! Yetta!!
Maybe some of them also have completed all the stages and seen the ending. But some have not yet. The attacks by enemies especially in level 5 or 6 are extremely hard and merciless. Some people might think that the game is too hard to complete and quit playing. However, please try it again! Because we have released Glandarius 1.2 that has easier levels in addition to current ones.
In “Easy” mode, you can play 5 levels. The situations are almost the same, but there are less enemies and less attacks of them. Also, it is easier to defeat enemies than normal mode. Your score will be ranked separately in normal and easy mode. Let’s upgrade to 1.2 and go through all the levels of Glandarius Wing Strike!
I’m looking forward to your join in the rankings.

Chain Takes You to the Next Level -tips for GWS-

Hi all, how’s going?
Do you enjoy Glandarius Wing Strike? I’m now at level 5 and struggling with the incredibly armed boss… I’ve sent my score to the website of GWS. We’re looking forward to your join the ranking. Please check it out and renew it one after another!

By the way, some players may also be struggling with the challenging levels. So I’d like to let you know some little tips to break through the levels!
First of all, many lives make it easier to endure enemy’s merciless attacks. At every 300 thousand points, you can earn one more player life. To get more point, it’s better to succeed in “chains.” If you locked on 4 enemies at the same time and defeat them, you can earn a chain count. The number of the count multiplys the points you get. So, the more you add the chain count, the easier to earn your player’s lives. If you get used to, you will earn 3 lives at the first level.

And more, actually, collision detection is set low. So, it is not so difficult to slip into the openings between enemies’ attacks. Just try it when you thought your player was surrounded by enemies’ attacks and couldn’t escape from them!
GWS level5
Have you seen level 6? Up to level 5, you can check the images on the official website, but the final one is still top secret. Hope these tips will take you to the next level and you will see the final level!

Glandarius Wing Strike

Finally, finally, the game I wrote about before was released today! That means the seal on my mouth was also removed. So I would like to let you know about it, Glandarius Wing Strike!
Glandarius Wing Strike is a shooting game application for iPhone / iPod touch. It is the first game created by IZUMOGASIN, as I introduced in the post of the other day.
Moving your aircraft and emitting lock-on lasers and normal beams, you attack on the adversaries, the Galaxy Imperial Force. If you tap the screen, your aircraft moves horizontally to the place you tapped. Also your aircraft emits normal beams by tapping the screen. When you push the screen or slide your finger on the screen and the adversaries come in front of your aircraft, you can lock them on up to 4 at the same time. Then, if you remove your finger from the screen, lock-on laser beams will be emitted to them.
You can do these things only with one finger!
The first stage is above the sea around Kunashiri island. The first mission is to make surprise attack and defeat the forces of Galaxy Imperial Armies recently extending their force to the island.The game has 5 more stages. A variety and unique stages are waiting for your challenge!
In addition, it has 3 game systems: honor, class and ranking. The game will confer titles of honor on you according to your play style. If you clear the stage more strategically, more cool title will be conferred on you. I was given the titles like “Chicken” or “Hasty Man” in the beginning… Also grading system will tell your class by the result of your battles. From “Aircraft Fan,” the least class, to how high class will you get? Furthermore, the game provide high-score ranking both on your application and on the Internet. You can check how high point did other players score. How about showing your great strategical result off to other players?
From beginner to advanced players, you will find your own play style.
Beautiful graphics and clear sound and music will make your game experience more enjoyable. Not only high quality graphics, but also movement of the aircraft or scrolling is really smooth.
Finally, the most important thing… the price is $4.99!
